I use a Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx frequently and love it. It's geeky, not Apple simple, but they're rugged and the selection of maps are outstanding. (Unfortunately, maps cost more.) The Topo and National Park maps are must haves if you hike a lot. These aren't turn-by-turn car units.

I bought this for my Garmin 62s. The carry case is big and the dvciee jumps around in it. The belt loop is also quite big which does not support the case. I found this resulted in the case moving around alot when on my belt over time got very annoying. In the end i found the best option was to put it on the chest strap on my bag and then put some elastic around the shoulder straps to hold it in place. This worked very well and has kept the dvciee in place when running, mountain biking and walking. Overall the case is ok it protects the unit from bumps and makes accessing you gps easy, however if you have a small dvciee i would not bother because it is designed to carry the big GPS units which will bounce around loads.
